hello!
Hello! I am an Asian American Art Director and Visual Development Artist based in Los Angeles with 14 years of comprehensive experience in both 2D and CG animation. I am passionate about visual storytelling and am known for my ability to work in a diverse range of styles.
My skill set spans across design development, digital painting, light and color theory, and 3D modeling allowing me to approach every project with a multifaceted perspective. I have extensive experience working with tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketchup and some Blender to create compelling environments and wholistic world building. Prior to my transition to animation, I earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Pennsylvania State University and accrued valuable world building experience as an architect.
Notably, I recently spearheaded the creative direction of seven pilots as part of the Nickelodeon Development Shorts Program resulting in Rock Paper Scissors and WyldePak receiving green light to series. I was also honored as one of Variety Magazine’s 10 Animators to Watch in 2020.
Presently, I serve as a Visual Development artist at Warner Bros Animation. Previous employers include Netflix, Nickelodeon, Disney, Cartoon Network, Dreamworks and Sony.
