hello!

Hello! I am a seasoned Asian American Art Director and Visual Development Artist based in Los Angeles with 13 years of comprehensive experience in both 2D and CG animation. I am passionate about visual storytelling and am known for my ability to work in a diverse range of artistic styles.

My skill set spans across design development, digital painting, light and color theory, and 3D modeling allowing me to approach every project with a multifaceted perspective. I have extensive experience working with tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketchup and some Blender to create compelling environments and props. Prior to my transition to animation, I earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Pennsylvania State University and accrued valuable world building experience as an architect.

Notably, I recently spearheaded the creative direction of seven pilots as part of the Nickelodeon Development Shorts Program resulting in Rock Paper Scissors and WyldePak receiving green light to series. I was also honored as one of Variety Magazine’s 10 Animators to Watch in 2020.

Presently, I serve as the Lead Visual Development artist for the Monster High series at Nickelodeon Animation. Previous employers include Netflix Animation, Disney Television Animation, Cartoon Network Studios, Dreamworks Television Animation and Sony Animation.
